This is a very special vintage Avirex Ltd. USA B-9 Leather Air Force Vest. Avirex has been a leader in military apparel since Jeff Clyman founded it in 1975. This brown leather vest is a B-9 design with two slit side pockets and an additional zippered pouch on the left chest. The inside lining features a unique print representative of the U.S. Air Force. These jackets and vests were made popular after the release of the classic film “Top Gun” and here we have a fine example. Made in 1986, this limited Avirex vest is a true vintage lovers dream.
