This is an Apex One NHL jacket for the New York Rangers. This jacket is made of a 100% Nylon shell and lining with a 100% Polyester filling. Apex One was known throughout the 1980's a premier supplier of sportswear with licenses for most professional sports teams. In 1995 they were acquired by Converse and continued to make sports themed activewear, sportswear, headwear, and accessories. Today, the company is not around anymore so their items are considered to be extremely rare vintage pieces. The New York Rangers are one of the oldest teams in NHL historic dating back to the 1926 expansion and being a member of "The Original Six". The Rangers were the first team from the U.S. to win a Stanley Cup and have won four in total. The most notable players during the time these jackets were in use were Mark Messier, who led them to winning the 1994 Stanley Cup, and Wayne Gretzky "The Great One", who finished his career with the Rangers playing the famous Madison Square Garden. This jacket is a gem for any true Rangers fans and an amazing piece of vintage for any collector.
